The weather is cooling down and fall is in the air. In past years this weather pattern has proved to be great for fishing in the Pensacola area, and this year has been no different. Not only do the 70 degree temperatures make it much more comfortable, but it seems to make the fish hungry! Inshore we are catching Redfish, Redfish and Redfish! Did I mention Redfish? This is the time of year the big 20 to 30 pound Redfish move into our bay system to spawn. Witnessing a school of 500 giant fish ambush bait is truly a sight to see. We are also getting a bunch of keeper sized Redfish mixed in with the larger fish. Other species of fish that frequent our bay this time of year are Mackerel, Flounder, Trout, Snapper, and Jacks. If you book an inshore trip during October and November expect to see a bunch of action.
Offshore We are catching Triggerfish, Red Snapper, Mackerel, and a few Mahi. I honestly think the inshore trip is better than the offshore trip right now.
Booking a trip is simple. Either shoot me a text at 850-450-3878 or give me a call. I am usually on the water, so a simple text is easiest. Below are a few pics of some of our recent trips.
See ya on the water
