Spring is almost here, so if you haven’t booked your spring break fishing trip yet feel free to give us a call or shoot us a text at anytime. You can also fill out a booking request form on our site. Now that we have that out of the way lets get down to the fishing! February is always a fun month here in Pensacola. The fish are definitely still on a winter pattern, so we will be doing a lot of deep water structure fishing with live bait. This cold water technique is exactly what we have been doing on most of our trips this month, and we have had a lot of success. The most common species of fish we target during February are Redfish, Trout, Black drum, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Sheepshead, and Sharks. The species of fish we catch differ every month, however the fish I just mentioned are what you’ll most likely be targeting if you book a trip over the next few weeks. Live shrimp, and live crabs are our bait of choice during February and March because that’s what the fish are feeding on during the cooler months. Families and kids of all ages are welcomed on our trips, so don’t hesitate to give us a call if you have some young kids wanting to experience a trip as well. As I mentioned before texting or calling is the best way to secure booking. Our number is 850-450-3878. Below are a few pictures from our last two trips.
See ya on the water
