Hey guys! Spring is officially here and that means Ill be spending lots of time on the water running fishing charters. This time of year you can expect to catch a number of different species. Sheepshead, Redfish, and Spanish mackerel a few species we have been catching lately to name a few. We are also getting some nice Pompano and Whiting just off the beach. Live and peeled shrimp are the bait of choice for the most species this time of year. Offshore we are starting to see some cobia migrate down our beaches. You always have a chance of hooking a large cobia this time of year when fishing any of our nearshore reefs. We have also been catching countless red snapper, Trigger fish, and Amberjack. Unfortunately we have to throw those species back, but they are still fun to catch. It also shouldn’t be long before the large King Mackerel start to show up at all of our nearshore reefs as well.
