Another year has come and gone. 2017 was the best year yet for AnglerUp Charters and I have high hopes that 2018 will be just as good. 2017 brought with it many memories, new friends, and several firsts for me as a boat captain. Enough reminiscing, lets talk about what’s biting in Pensacola. I usually take the month of January off and relax with the family, and this year was no different. I did get out and do a little fun fishing by myself though. Right now the redfish are migrating up and down our beaches so if you can catch a calm day you’re in for some phenomenal sight fishing. I sight fished several Redfish myself over the past few weeks and I can tell you from experience that you’ll be in for a good time. There is also a pretty good trout bite in the back country as well as plenty of Snapper and a few Redfish to be caught deep dropping in the bay. The Sheepshead and Black Drum are also starting to show up and that bite will only continue to get better as it warms up.
On February 1st I will start back guiding full time. It’s best to book your trip now if you’re interested in fishing during the months of February and March. Spots are already filling up quick. I have added two more guides to my fleet so we should have plenty of room for you and your family if you book in advance. Booking is very easy. Just give me a call or shoot me a text. My number is 850-450-3878.
Here are a few pictures from my most recent adventures.
See ya on the water,
