Capt Brant’s June Report From Pensacola

 In Fishing reports

After spending half the month traveling the country of Iceland I wasn’t entirely eager to get back to the grind of charter fishing. None the less, I quickly fell back into a rhythm and it’s turned out to be one heck of a month! The weather has cooperated quite nicely which has allowed us to catch some quality fish. The offshore bite has been outstanding. We still have about 10 days left of Red Snapper season which always makes for an eventful trip. Besides Snapper we are also catching grouper, lots of King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Black Snapper, Cobia, sharks, and an assortment of other species. Inshore is a little more of a grind, but we are still managing some decent fish. The flounder bite has been pretty solid over the last few weeks, and we are also catching a decent number of bull reds. If you get lucky and pick a good weather day you can expect a pretty successful trip.
