What a year 2015 has been! The fishing has been solid, and I couldn’t have asked for better clients. I was a little worried about the month of December. The cooler temperatures can make the fish tough to find, but that hasn’t been the case at all for this holiday season. In fact December is shaping up to be one of my better months.

Inshore, there are lots of trout and redfish. We have been getting around 25 trout per trip with some giant 30 plus pound bull reds mixed in. The trout have been hanging around deep water bridges, and creek mouths. Any kind of soft plastic fluke or suspending hard bait works great. The fish range in size from 14 to 25 inches in length, and they sure are tasty! If dinner is what you’re after then booking a trout trip is the perfect excursion for you. On the contrary if you’re just looking to catch and release you may consider chasing monster redfish in the open water. These redfish range in size from 15 to 30 pounds and are some of the hardest pulling fish that the Florida gulf coast has to offer. If you’re fortunate enough to book a day where the winds are calm we can also run off the beach and target mingo snapper, amberjack, mackerel, and whatever else we can find. All of these trips can be very eventful in it’s own way, and you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose to do.

We take clients from Navarre Florida, Pensacola Florida, Perdido Key Florida, and Orange Beach Alabama. We are very centrally located so no matter where you are staying we are never more than half an hour from you. Booking your trip is very simple. You can book online by filling out one of our booking request forms. If you choose to do it this way make sure and leave a good phone number so we can get in touch with you. You can also give us a call direct at 850-450-3878, or email us at brant.peacher@gmail.com. Our busy months are May, June, and July, so if you’re looking for a trip during this time of year I would suggest booking a couple weeks in advance otherwise you may be out of luck.

Below are a few redfish pics from our most recent trips. I hope you enjoy.
