June is off to a phenomenal start! We have had some great weather, the blue water is in close, and the fish are biting. A lot of the nearshore wrecks are loaded with Snapper, Kings, Triggers, Cobia, Mahi and more. The last few weeks have been very eventful here at Angler Up Charters. We have seen more Mahi, tuna, cobia, and kings, inside 3 miles than I have seen in quite some time. If the bite stays like this then the rest of this season will be easy for us guides.
Yesterdays trip was a great success. We started the morning hitting a snapper spot just off the beach. It didn’t take long before we had a limit of tasty Red Snapper in the ice box. After Snapper fishing we ran to a nearby spot and put out some live baits on top. We hooked big kings and cobia the rest of the morning. That is how most of our trips have gone over the last few weeks. They have been slam packed with action!
