What a week! The weather has been great and the fish active. It’s nice to see all of the big fish in close to the beach again. That means we don’t have to go far to get in on some drag screaming action. We are running most of our trips just off the beach and catching redfish, tuna, king mackerel, spanish mackerel, cobia, sharks, and whatever else we can get to bite. If the wind is calm and allows us to get to the spots then you can expect a solid trip. Most of the King Mackerel range from 12 to 30 lbs and the cobia from 30 to 50lbs. Remember that snapper season starts on May 23rd so if you are looking to fill your freezer with tasty snapper then you need to book now. Spots are filling up!
If the above species aren’t something youre into catching then we can also run bay trips and target trout, redfish and flounder. The trout bite is pretty solid right now in the Pensacola area. We also offer site seeing and dolphin tours so if fishing is not your thing then maybe an evening cruise down beautiful Pensacola beach is.
