When fishing inshore, our guides will typically target species such as redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead, spanish mackerel and even red snapper using a variety of tactics and gear. Using years of experience and knowledge of local waterways, our Captain will be able to determine what species to go after depending on weather conditions, what has been biting, and what is in season. Some species are only in season for certain parts of the year but can still be caught and released. Catch and release trips can be just as fun as filling the cooler, especially for the young anglers!
When conditions are right and seas aren’t too rough, fishing the Gulf of Mexico can be an exhilarating experience. The Gulf is famous for its abundance of Red Snapper but because it is a highly sought after species, the season is limited to small windows throughout the year. If you are looking to fill the cooler with snapper, we suggest planning accordingly to make sure it is in season when you book your trip. If the timing doesn’t work out for your trip, the Gulf of Mexico still offers some amazing fishing opportunities. Species like king mackerel, triggerfish, amberjack, black snapper and various reef fish are really fun to catch and are sure to put up a fun fight.
Our inshore/nearshore trips are perfect for groups of 4 or less and any level of angler. Whether it is your first time on the boat or you are an experienced veteran, we will do our best to make sure your trip is as enjoyable as possible. Gather your group and book a trip today to make memories that are sure to last a lifetime!
