The emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico are notorious for its ample offshore fishing opportunities and with easy access out of Pensacola and Pensacola Beach, it’s no wonder why people from all over the country visit here in hopes to land that next big catch or personal record. The Gulf of Mexico is known for its incredible bottom fishing year-round. When your group books a trip with our Captain, you can expect to target species such as the very popular red snapper, black snapper, mingo snapper, triggerfish, amberjack, gag grouper, and scamp when bottom fishing. If weather permits and conditions are right to venture further into deeper waters of the Gulf, we can sometimes troll for king mackerel, wahoo, mahi mahi, and even the occasional tuna if we are lucky.

A lot of the species we target is dependent on weather conditions as well as the time of year and what is in season. Red Snapper have shorter windows than some other species so we suggest planning accordingly and doing some research to determine what is in season during your trip to Pensacola. Our offshore boats can fit up to 6 anglers and offer a smooth ride as you head out into the Gulf of Mexico from Pensacola Bay. Our rates include tackle, rods, reels, licensing, live bait, ice, and fish cleaning services. Because offshore trips are a bit longer than inshore and nearshore trips, we suggest bringing essentials such as sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks, beverages and a camera to make sure you get a picture of that epic catch!
